H Cuisine by Chef Hannah

Home of the Most Awesome Angus Beef Belly

First off, the place is really cute and tiny. It's nice to go here if you want to be alone or have a quiet chit-chat with a small group of friends.

What else would I order but their specialty, right? And since I love flakes... I ordered the...

Angus Beef Flakes Bowl

The bowl comes with vegetables and H rice (buttered rice). It also comes with a gravy but you can eat it as it is if you want it dry. This is a large serving--well at least for me. I actually closed my eyes right as I tasted it! It was heavenly! Especially the buttered rice--you barely taste the butter but you can feel that it's there. I'd really come back for this one.

Oven Braised Herbed Chicken

We also ordered chicken. It comes with their signature gravy, vegetables and mashed potatoes. It has a tangy and herb-y taste, plus it was still hot when served which makes it better.

As to the price: It's highly affordable.
Food doesn't have to be expensive to be good. ;-)

Spamcakes

Yeahp... You read that right!

Today, we're making spamcakes (pancakes with spam, basically, ha ha)

Here's what you will need:

  • Pancake mix
  • Egg
  • A cup of water
  • Olive oil
  • A can of meatloaf
  • Ice cream (optional)
  • Fruits (optional)

Put the pancake mix, the egg, the water and the oil to make the batter.

Batter is ready!
Please do not overmix it.

Slice the meatloaf into tidbits and put it into to the batter. Cook as you do with pancakes.

Ta-da!!

Here, I put a scoop of kesong puti ice cream, chocolate sauce and strawberry juice on top, plus strawberries on the side.

You may also top your spamcakes with blueberries, peaches, whipped cream, or anything you wish.

Really cheap and really easy, right?

P.S. Thanks to my good friends Bianca and Lucky for preparing this snack!
