Breakfast Bowl by Sashy

This recipe is great for busy people (or lazy people, for that matter!) You can make this even if you can't cook!

What you'll need:
  • Cooking spray/lite butter
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt & pepper
  • Mushrooms (chopped)
  • Spring onions (chopped)
  • Tomatoes
  • Cheddar cheese (grated)

First, spray your bowl with cooking spray. If you don't have one, you may just spread lite butter on it.
P.S. Make sure your bowl is microwavable; mine is Corelle.

Beat the three eggs, and altogether put the mushrooms and the onions. Sprinkle salt and pepper, mix lightly. With your microwave on high, heat for 1 minute. Remove and stir a little, put it back, and heat for 10 more seconds (depends how you want your eggs done.)

Finish the dish by putting cheddar cheese on top and tomatoes on the side.
ENJOY!

You may have this for breakfast, lunch or dinner

H Cuisine by Chef Hannah

Home of the Most Awesome Angus Beef Belly

First off, the place is really cute and tiny. It's nice to go here if you want to be alone or have a quiet chit-chat with a small group of friends.

What else would I order but their specialty, right? And since I love flakes... I ordered the...

Angus Beef Flakes Bowl

The bowl comes with vegetables and H rice (buttered rice). It also comes with a gravy but you can eat it as it is if you want it dry. This is a large serving--well at least for me. I actually closed my eyes right as I tasted it! It was heavenly! Especially the buttered rice--you barely taste the butter but you can feel that it's there. I'd really come back for this one.

Oven Braised Herbed Chicken

We also ordered chicken. It comes with their signature gravy, vegetables and mashed potatoes. It has a tangy and herb-y taste, plus it was still hot when served which makes it better.

As to the price: It's highly affordable.
Food doesn't have to be expensive to be good. ;-)

Spamcakes

Yeahp... You read that right!

Today, we're making spamcakes (pancakes with spam, basically, ha ha)

Here's what you will need:

  • Pancake mix
  • Egg
  • A cup of water
  • Olive oil
  • A can of meatloaf
  • Ice cream (optional)
  • Fruits (optional)

Put the pancake mix, the egg, the water and the oil to make the batter.

Batter is ready!
Please do not overmix it.

Slice the meatloaf into tidbits and put it into to the batter. Cook as you do with pancakes.

Ta-da!!

Here, I put a scoop of kesong puti ice cream, chocolate sauce and strawberry juice on top, plus strawberries on the side.

You may also top your spamcakes with blueberries, peaches, whipped cream, or anything you wish.

Really cheap and really easy, right?

P.S. Thanks to my good friends Bianca and Lucky for preparing this snack!

How to Make House Blend Iced Tea

Today, we're making house blend iced tea.

Step 1: Brew tea. Put the tea leaves in the brewer before pouring boiling water. Only push the drain halfway  so you give enough room for steeping.

If you do not have a tea brewer, you may use some of these tea bags and steep them in a cup of boiling water for extraction.

Our tea is ready!

Step 2: Prepare a glass of ice.

Step 3: To add flavor, I am going to put a little bit of blueberry juice to our drink.

You may also put a little bit of Yakult for a *healthier* drink.

Step 4: Mix them all together, in portions as desired. If you want it sweet, you may put classic syrup or sugar.

Our blueberry iced tea is ready!

Classic Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken

Classic Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken

What I love about this salad is that the dressing doesn't give me sour stomach. Most dressings are either too sour or too bland. You can also have it on the side if you want to mix it on your own.
The next best thing is the chicken! It's grilled to perfection. It's juicy and tasty with every bite. It goes just right with the greens and the croutons!
The veggies are so fresh... and crunchy. Plus this course comes with my favorite--quail eggs!

This is actually good for two, but can be eaten as a whole meal when you're on a diet.

Relish: Hello, Happiness!

Just as I was about to enter this door... I felt that something about this place was going to surprise me.

Not only does it have good exterior, but also good interior!

Look at these cute little flower vases, teapots and cakes

Even their place mat is adorable.

Relish Bistro Steak

This steak is delish! To me, the perfect doneness for this steak, or for any steak for that matter, is medium-well. That way it is cooked on the outside but has a warm and juicy center. I'd also like you to try asking for A1 to add more flavor instead of just the gravy that comes with it. This course also comes with a salad on the side.

It is very appetizing. I finished my food. ☺

I'd also like to commend our sever Bryce. He was very bubbly, friendly and accommodating.
